Watch out for that snowman!

Little Miss Tucker would like everyone to rush to the library to get a copy of Nancy Drew's Case of the Sneaky Snowman...see if you can unravel the mystery before we get together again! Keep checking the blog for bookclub dates and times!

Bookworms take to the sea!

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, July 1st as the Bookworms take another trip with the Magic Treehouse! Miss Stacy and Alexandria will by our guides as we explore a Dark Day in the Deep Sea. We will meet at the First Baptist Church Craft Room at 11:00 for some discussion, tasty ocean treats, and some sea-worthy crafts...see you then!

The Bookworms are graduating!

and thanks to Miss Melanie and Sally Katherine, they had a large time as they matriculated! The girls enjoyed a lovely buffet filled with delicious and adorable treats (check out the diploma sandwiches and the mortarboard chocolate treats!). After the girls talked about their favorite parts (a unanimous vote for when Junie B. Jones' class painted their caps and gowns), they discussed the lessons learned by the precocious kindergarten student. In honor of their favorite character, the girls painted shirts just like the friends of Junie B. The girls then received a diploma marking the completion of their first year as Bookworms!

Bookworms make a rainbow!

Just in time for Spring...the girls gathered to make beautiful rainbows! Many thanks to Ms. Kaybo for instructing the girls in the finer art of making rainbow cakes. The girls quickly mastered the craft of creating interesting and vibrant colors. Camden even managed to sneak in to make a rainbow! Caelan and Mary Mauldin want to thank everyone for coming to book club and hope that the future of each bookworm is filled with rainbows!

Save the date...

On Friday, March 20th, the Book Worms will join Ms. Frizzell as she teaches them about the many colors of the rainbow. Ms. Kay Bowen will be our guest chef for this month. She will help the girls create their very own rainbow cakes! Be sure to get your copy of the
Magic School Bus Makes a Rainbow.
Hope to see everyone at Caelan and Mary Mauldin's house for this colorful evening...

Toothless Wonders!

Thanks so much to Caroline and Miss Christy for hosting a sweet evening! The girls enjoyed lots of treats and had a heartfelt discussion about Junie B. Jones' first loose tooth and Dan, Dan the Soda Can.
